DIRECTIONS

1.Navigate to 274 1st Ave — or use these precise coordinates. The closest subway stop is Union Square Station (15 min walk) because the L train is down this weekend.

2. Walk up 1st Ave and walk past Dunkin’ Donuts (266 1st Ave).

3. Turn right at First Avenue Loop.

4. Cross the pedestrian crosswalk at the fist stop sign.

5. Walk across the street and into the covered awning.

6. At the first intersection (look for a playground), turn right.

7. Take a left at the fork, then walk up the stairs to 274.

8. Open the door and dial code 110. I’ll buzz you in, and then go to the first floor. Find apartment 1C.

I moved to NYC a bit ago and my house could use some warming.

So, you’re invited to my housewarming party at DOUBLE A CAFE, your favorite cafe’s favorite cafe, a.k.a my apartment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Grab a lunch in the East Village beforehand, then make your way to DOUBLE A CAFE for a variety of matcha drinks — with familiar and new combinations (and friends)!
